Elijah Shares in European Grant for Bibliodrama in an Interreligious Context.

The Elijah Interfaith Institute is one of five partner organizations who have received a grant from the Grundtvig Foundation to implement interreligious Bibliodrama workshops, ‘Bibliodrama as a way of intercultural learning for adults’. Elijah has coopted one of the world leaders in the technique of Bibliodrama, Yael Unterman, to conduct workshops in Israel for Jewish, Christian and Muslim participants over the next two years. The impact of the workshops on participants’ attitudes will be measured and evaluated. It is hoped that this technique will prove to be one that can be used to achieve Elijah’s goal of ‘Sharing Wisdom, Fostering Peace.’ Other partners to the grant are in Poland, Iceland, Hungary and Turkey.
