(Response to 2.C.2 From the Gospel of John, Chapter 4, presented by Piotr Sikora)
If we can find the source of this living water, we will never thirst again. To cast away this “I-me-mine” which is the main obstacle to seeing things clearly just as they are, is to enter into a world that is beyond the subject-object dichotomy, beyond linear time, beyond physical space, into a realm of the unborn, of the deathless, the eternal. This is the realm that Shakyamuni Buddha was awakened to, which enabled him to arrive at the place of peace (santam padam), to which he invites all his followers to also join him. His prescription for this— stop, and see. And you will drink from the fountains of living water.
